A plan built food by food
156 common foods with their values per 100 g (ANSES Ciqual and USDA tables), standard portions, and everything is weighed raw, like on the packet. Calorie and macro targets are calculated from the athlete’s profile, or you set them yourself.
- Meals and foods, with live totals
- Recipes with their number of servings
- Several plans spread across the days of the week
- Your own foods and products in “My foods”
Your existing meal plans, imported in one go
Pro plan: drop in the meal plan you’ve already written, as a PDF, Excel, Word, Google Sheets or a photo. The AI picks up the meals and quantities, matches each food to the library for its values, converts cooked weights to raw, and files supplements separately with their dose. You review, adjust, then confirm.
- “2 eggs”, “1 tbsp”, “250 ml” kept as written
- Whey, omega-3, vitamins: straight into the athlete’s supplements
- A misread food is swapped in one tap
The barcode scanner
A packaged product? Scan its barcode with the camera: ALTERO finds its nutritional values in your foods, or in the Open Food Facts database. For generic foods, the Ciqual table from ANSES, the French reference, is built in: over 2,000 foods, official values.
Swaps that don’t break the macros
If you allow them, your athlete swaps a food for another from the same family, with the same dominant macro, and sees the calorie difference. A missing food no longer derails the day.
What they actually eat, day by day
Your athlete ticks off their meals, enters a different quantity, skips a meal or adds an off-plan food, and can fill in up to the day before yesterday. You see 7-day plan adherence and the average calorie gap, calculated only on the days logged.
Supplements and shopping list
You enter supplements with their dose, timing and frequency. Your athlete also gets their shopping list, built from their plan.
Questions
Nutrition: your questions
Are calories and macros calculated automatically?
Yes: every food you add updates the meal and daily totals. For targets, ALTERO suggests a calculation based on weight, height, age, goal and activity level (Mifflin-St Jeor equation), which you adjust as you like.
Can my athlete swap a food?
Yes, if you allow swaps: they pick a food from the same group with the same main macro, and the calorie difference is shown. They can also scan a product or log a food eaten outside the plan.
How can you tell if the plan is really being followed?
Your athlete logs what they ate: meals ticked off, different quantities, skipped meals, extra foods. Your 7-day view shows plan adherence and the calorie gap, and the next check-in sums it up.
Can I import a meal plan I’ve already written?
Yes, with the Pro plan: PDF, Excel, Word, Google Sheets link or photo. Meals, quantities and supplements are brought in as a draft, with values from the library, and you approve before anything is created.
Can I reuse a plan for several athletes?
Yes. Save it as a template in your Library and assign it in one tap: each athlete gets their own copy, which you then adjust.
