Founding coaches have a direct line to me and a say in the app’s choices. That’s something I keep for a small number of coaches.
I first knew coaching from the athlete’s side: programmes in PDFs, meal plans in Excel, check-ins sent by message and buried between two conversations. The coaches’ work was serious. The tools, much less so.
After becoming a software engineer, I wanted to bring the two worlds together. That’s where ALTERO came from: a single app where the coach builds their programmes and meal plans, receives clear check-ins and follows each athlete, and where the athlete knows exactly what to do every day.
Today, ALTERO covers the whole coaching follow-up, from the first programme to the check-in, on phone and computer alike. What comes next is decided with the coaches who use it every day.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a card?
Yes, to secure your spot, once your email address is confirmed: nothing is charged for 3 months, you’re notified 7 days before the first charge, and you can switch to Starter or cancel before then, without paying anything.
Is there a minimum commitment?
None. You cancel in one click from your plan, during the 3 months and after. If you cancel before the 3 months are up, your spot is released for another coach, along with its discount; until the end date arrives, you can resume and keep everything.
What happens after the 3 months?
Your Pro subscription continues at €55.30 a month instead of €79, -30% for life. Prefer Starter? €20.30 a month instead of €29. If you cancel before the end of the 3 months, nothing is charged, your account moves to Discovery, free up to 2 athletes, and nothing is deleted.
Does the discount really last for life?
Yes, as long as your subscription taken out on the website stays active, on Pro or Starter. Once your first month is paid, if you cancel and resubscribe later on the website, the discount is still there. If you cancel before the end of the 3 free months, your spot and its discount are released to another coach.
What if I use the iPhone app?
Your founder subscription is taken out on the website, with its discount: you then sign in to the iPhone app with the same account, without buying anything again. Offers (founders, codes, referrals) are used on the website, never in the apps. A subscription bought in the app is sold by Apple, at the App Store price: the discount can’t apply to it.
Where is my data, and my athletes’ data?
Hosted in France, encrypted in transit, never sold. Anyone can export their data or delete their account.
How long is the offer open?
Until spot number 10 is taken. A spot is yours as soon as your card is saved. The counter on this page is up to date; once it’s full, sign-up goes back to the 14-day trial.
